What began as a Facebook page sharing short pronunciation videos grew into a thriving online school. Meet the founders behind it — and the qualified teachers who make every lesson count.

Aurora Ricotti-Ottmann

Co-founder & pronunciation coach

Teaches: English, Italian

Based in the UK since 2011, where she graduated in Languages and Drama from the University of Essex, Aurora works as a high-school language teacher in London. Drawing on her background in drama and years of performing in English, she has become an expert in English phonetics, specialising in helping Italians improve their pronunciation through acting techniques.

After spending a year teaching in a British school in the Middle East, Aurora decided to create her own page to share short videos on how to improve your English. The success of these videos on her Facebook page, Online Language Lessons, soon led to its evolution into the online school that carries the same name.

She now lives in Thailand (temporarily) with her English husband and their twin boys.

Arianna Ricotti

Co-founder & teacher

Teaches: English, Italian

After 12 years of experience in international pharmaceutical communication agencies, Arianna returned to her passion for foreign languages. Having graduated in languages from the University of Essex, and obtained the prestigious CELTA, she decided to devote herself to the wonderful project of Online Language Lessons, running the school and teaching English and Italian to foreigners.

Her dream? To pass on her love for foreign languages. Arianna speaks 5 languages, lives in London and loves travelling madly.
